Endura look to greener future with Centreco Solar Energy Installation

Centreco (UK) Limited, leading UK commercial solar energy installers, are pleased to announce the completion of a 351kW Solar Panel System for Endura Ltd at their premisses in Livingston. The solar energy system consisting of 946 roof mounted tier one panels will allow Endura Ltd to generate their own green electricity. The system is predicted to save over 1,639 Tonnes of CO₂ emissions over the next 25 years allowing the leading manufacturer of Cycling Clothing, Bike Helmets & Accessories to significantly reduce their carbon footprint. These CO₂ savings are roughly equivalent to over 4,068,835 miles being driven by an average passenger car.

The move to self-generated solar energy complements Endura’s wider environmental and sustainability programmes on their journey to becoming CO₂ negative by 2024. Their solar energy system now sits alongside their other initiatives including the ‘One Million Trees’ project and banning environmentally harmful chemicals such as PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) and PFC (Perfluorinated compounds) from their products. These initiatives being more important than ever as consumers place more importance on the green credentials of brands before making purchasing decisions.

With electricity costs on the rise, Endura by owning the system are now able to benefit from equivalent fixed electricity costs of just 3.5p per kWh projected over the next 25 years. This offers a substantial saving against grid supplied electricity rates currently available and protects against long-term inflationary pressures on energy costs.

As Endura’s site in Livingston is the heart of its daily operations, it was critical that throughout the installation process, there was minimal disruption to Endura. Centreco were able to achieve this by working with the client to ensure the Centreco in-house scaffolding, installation, and electrical teams caused minimal disruption to this busy manufacturing hub.

Leading UK commercial solar energy installers, Centreco (UK) Limited, announce the completion of a 35kW Solar Panel System for 3D Aluminium at their premisses in Oxford. The solar energy system consisting of 93 roof mounted tier one panels will allow 3D Aluminium to generate their own green electricity. With the system predicted to save over 162 Tonnes of CO₂ emissions over the next 25 years allowing the specialists in commercial windows, doors, framing systems to significantly reduce their carbon footprint, future-proofing their manufacturing operations. These CO₂ savings are equivalent to 409,287 miles driven by an average passenger car.

For 3D Aluminium, the project was also financially focussed as they were keen to benefit from the exceptional cost saving opportunities that a solar energy system from Centreco will deliver. To achieve this, Centreco designed, installed, and optimised a bespoke system for the client. 3D Aluminium are now able to benefit from equivalent fixed electricity costs of just 5.1p per kWh projected over the next 25 years.

This offers a substantial saving against grid supplied electricity rates currently available and protects against long-term inflationary pressures on energy prices. This solar energy system from Centreco gives 3D Aluminium immediate savings and peace of mind that they are protected against any current or future energy price hikes – this being more important than ever given supply and cost pressures across the energy market.

The solar panel system consisting of 286 roof mounted tier one panels will allow Wilco Manufacturing to generate their own green electricity, with the system predicted to save over 595 Tonnes of CO₂ emissions over the next 25 years allowing the leaders in CNC turning and manufacturing to significantly reduce their carbon footprint. Using the latest design techniques alongside site surveys, Centreco were able to design and install a bespoke solar energy system that matches Wilco’s electricity usage profile, ensuring the best long term commercial returns for the business. The utilisation of prime facing roof space allowed for an efficient and even panel layout whilst working to the operational criteria laid down by Wilco Manufacturing.

Centreco deliver sixteen thousand tonnes of CO2 savings in two months

Centreco (UK) Limited, the leading solar energy system provider to businesses in the U.K. have delivered new installations across June and July which will save 16,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions over the next 25 years for its clients, a number equivalent to over 36 million miles driven by an average passenger car.

Having worked across 12 projects throughout the U.K. in this time, Centreco continue to provide solutions to increasing environmental pressures facing supply chains and the ever mounting environmental, sustainability and governance challenges faced by U.K. business.

With the added driver of commercial electricity price inflation now really hitting higher end users of electricity such as companies in manufacturing, production, fabrication and processing a solar energy system has never been as attractive as it is presently to combat power cost and insulate from future energy price hikes.

Centreco’s recent installations are delivering an average fixed forward electricity price at 3.7 pence per kilowatt hour over the 25 year period, which compares with average rates exceeding 30.0 pence per kilowatt hour on the grid supplied business energy market across June and July 2022.

Premier Textiles benefit from new 30kW Solar Panel System

Centreco (UK) Limited are delighted to announce the completed installation of a 30kW Solar Panel System for Premier Textiles of Stockport, Greater Manchester. The solar panel system consisting of 81 roof mounted tier one panels will allow Premier Textiles to generate their own green electricity, with the system predicted to save 138 Tonnes of CO2 emissions saved over the next 25 years allowing them to bolster their current green initiatives and environmental policies. These CO2 savings are equivalent to 343,413 miles driven by an average passenger car.

With electricity costs on the rise, Premier Textiles are now able to benefit from equivalent fixed electricity costs of 4.5p per kWh over the next 25 years across both their warehouse and production premises. Premier Textiles are also able to benefit from exporting any unused electricity back to the grid and be paid for the that incremental generation.

Despite having some restrictions on available roof space and limited historical electricity usage statistics, through multiple site surveys Centreco were able to design a system specification that maximised the available roof area at their Head Office premises whilst ensuring the best commercial case for Premier Textiles.

Centreco are aware of the importance of long-term sustainability for Premier Textiles so were able to offer a Tier One manufacturer backed 25-year warranty for the solar panels ensuring protection against future electricity price inflation, delivering energy security and bringing long lasting environmental benefits to this leading importer of yarns and fabrics.

It’s always great to be working with clients who are genuinely engaged and interested in the project, and with clients who understand the commercial and environmental benefits that a solar energy system brings. These CO₂ savings are equivalent to 3,245,375 miles driven by an average passenger car.

With electricity costs on the rise, Holophane are now able to benefit from equivalent fixed electricity costs of just 2.8p per kWh for the next 25 years across their premises. This compares to prices we are currently seeing in the commercial energy market of 25p per kwh, with these prices likely to increase substantially over time.

Through site surveys and using the latest design techniques Centreco were able to maximise the available roof space across their premises whilst ensuring the best commercial returns for the client.
