Ledwood
Background
Established in 1983, Ledwood is based at Pembroke Dock in Southwest Wales, with additional offices on Teesside and operations globally. Ledwood design, procure, fabricate, protective coat, construct, install, and project manage the delivery of complex plant internationally.
Similar to many other companies in the industry, Ledwood were facing ever-increasing energy prices. They were typical of many of Centreco’s previous clients, and it wasn’t long until the team realised the array of benefits a solar energy system had to offer.
Using the latest site modelling techniques Centreco designed and installed a tailored 211kW renewable energy system at the company’s Pembroke Dock premises. The system consists of 582 tier-one panels, and allows Ledwood to protect itself from potential energy price hikes in the future.
