With over 180 years’ trading experience, the Howarth Group has grown to provide not only the widest range of products, but expertise, service, and knowledge that their client can rely on. Now the UK’s largest privately-owned timber company, their origins can be traced back to 1840 when they commenced trading as Hudson & Co.

With being involved in the timber sector, sustainability has never been more important for the company. With this in mind, they embarked on a sustainability programme, so the installation of a Solar Energy System was the next step on this journey to becoming as green as possible.

Centreco were approached to design and deliver a bespoke 190kW Solar Energy System designed to maximise the available roof space whilst ensuring the best long term commercial returns.
