Background

Carlisle Brake & Friction manufacture high-performing systems allowing the control of machinery motion through braking, friction, clutch and transmission solutions.

Due to the heavy manufacturing that takes place at their site in Pontypool, Carlisle were keen to bring down their energy costs and increase their green credentials. After exploring multiple options, it was decided that Solar was the route they wanted to go down.

After an extensive research process, Centreco was selected as the supplier that Carlisle selected to design and install a commercially viable solar panel system on their roof.
