Butler’s Farmhouse Cheeses

Butlers is a family-owned business that has been producing excellent cheeses in Lancashire since 1932. Recently, the company was looking for ways to cut down on energy costs, they turned to Centreco for help. Upon learning about the many benefits of owning a solar energy system, the Butlers team decided to go for it.
Similar to many other companies in the industry, Butlers were facing uncertainty in terms of energy prices. They were typical of many of Centreco’s previous clients and it wasn’t long until the team at Butlers realised the large amount of benefits a solar energy system had to offer.

With the help of Centreco’s site modelling techniques, a bespoke 206kW system was designed and installed for Butlers. The system is made up of 549 tier-one panels and only takes up 1000sq metres of roof space.
