Background
Over the years SSS Industrial Doors, has established itself as one of the UK’s leading manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of industrial, insulated fire-resistant roller shutters. They are based in the North West, operating from Red Earth Farm in Edgworth, Bolton and their team works nationwide to deliver or install a range of security and fire safety-related door solutions.
In light of ever-increasing energy costs, Centreco was chosen to design and install a bespoke solar energy system for SSS Industrial Doors. When designing the tailored solar energy system, Centreco used desktop and site surveys to model the site’s energy usage and match it to the system specification, to ensure that it would suit their demands and generate the best return on investment.
Using the latest site modelling techniques Centreco designed and installed a tailored 30kW renewable energy system at the company’s premises. The system consists of 80 tier-one panels and takes up just 146sq metres of roof space.
Completion of this system allows SSS Industrial Doors to reduce its electricity costs, remain competitive, and meet the increasing environmental demands of its client base.
