Midas Pattern is an award-winning, ‘Carbon Net Zero’, precision polyurethane moulding company, with over 30 years’ experience and advanced manufacturing facilities in Bradford. They can provide a range of prototype and production polyurethane moulding solutions in UL94/V0 approved materials that are ideally suited to high-value, innovative, scientific, analytical, and medical equipment.

From 1st January 2021 all Midas products, including PU mouldings, MRIM & FASTrim tooling, foundry pattern equipment, and engineering models were delivered completely carbon neutral. In order to achieve this, Midas installed a commercial solar energy system to generate the electricity used within their manufacturing process. After exploring different suppliers, Centreco were selected to design and install a bespoke 218kW Commercial Solar Energy system across their two units. Centreco analysed Midas’ electricity usage profile to ensure the system would provide the best long term returns whilst providing the greatest environmental benefits.
