Established in 1963, The Wicks Group are waste management specialists based in Barrow-In-Furness. They offer Skip Hire and waste management programmes for their clients and are committed to providing the most environmentally friendly options available, even offering a 100% recycling programme.

The Wicks group are committed to achieving complete closed loop recycling with a mission to send zero waste to landfill. Some of the recycling practices involve high levels of energy usage, so to offset this, The Wicks Group were keen to explore the option of installing a commercial Solar Energy System. After multiple site surveys and analysing the companies electricity usage profile, Centreco were able to design and install a bespoke 150kW Solar Energy System, making best use of the available roof space and providing the best long term financial returns.
