Armstrong Priestley are UK wide, specialists in fire protection. First established in 1976, the company has throughout its history adapted to the demands of its customers. It now stands as a leader in the fire protection industry and provides sprinkler installations to a wide range of businesses from an array of sectors including industrial, retail, and residential.

When designing a tailored solar energy system for Armstrong Priestley, desktop and site surveys allowed Centreco to model the site’s energy usage and match it to the system specification, to ensure that it would suit their demands.

Using the latest site modelling techniques Centreco designed and installed a tailored 110kW renewable energy system at the company’s Leeds premises. This system consists of 293 tier-one panels, it takes up just 440sq metres of roof space and allows Armstrong Priestley to benefit from fixed energy rates at just 3.9p per kW Hour for the long-term.

This Centreco system allows Armstrong Priestley to reduce electricity costs, remain competitive as a result and meet the increasing environmental demands of its client base.
